Aldous, Charles Fencott 1891 - 1963

Charles Fencott Aldous was born in Basinstoke, Hampshire, England on 11 August 1891. In the 1911 England and Wales Census his occupation is given as Architectural Student, however, it is not known where or with whom he trained. By the early 1920s he was senior partner in the architectural practice Aldous & Oliver. The address of their office was given as 25, Ennerdale Road, Kew Gardens, London. They submitted a design for a bungalow in the Daily Mail Architects Competition for Labour-Saving Bungalows in 1922.

Aldous's address was given as 34 Rusholme Road, East Putney, Wandsworth, London in 1911;  18 Chepstow Villas, Kensington, London in 1930; Two, Trace Hill, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire in 1939; and 3 Kings Close, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire in  1963. He died in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire on 30 June 1963
