George Alexander Allan [also known as George A. Allan] was born on 24 May 1884 and active as an architect in London, England in the 1920s. A drawing of a house at Knebworth, Hertfordshire, designed by Allan is illustrated in The Studio Yearbook of Decorative Art vol.20, 1925 (p.31); and a drawing and ground-floor plan of a house near Watford in Hertfordshire, designed by him is illustrated in The Studio Yearbook of Decorative Art vol.21, 1926 (p.27).
He exhibited a drawing of a house at Millfield, Surrey at the Royal Academy in London in 1923; and a drawing of a house at Knebworth, Hertfordshire at the Royal Academy in 1926.
Allan was admitted a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1925. His office was located at 317, High Holborn, London in 1923; and a Staple Inn, London in 1926; and 14 Gray's Inn Square, London in 1936; and 14 Taviton Street, Euston, Camden, St Pancras, London in 1939. He died in London in 1958.
