Anderson, Alexander Frederick Berenbruck 1888 - 1968

Alexander Frederick Berenbruck Anderson was born in Nenthorn, Berwickshire, Scotland on 22 July 1888.  By 1901 he had moved to London.  He studied architecture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and from 1924 to the late 1940s was in partnership with Robert Atkinson (1883-1952) in London.

Anderson was elected an Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) and In 1937 was awarded the RIBA London Architecture Bronze Medal.

His address was given as 126 Wigmore Street, London in 1933;  Braeside, Beechway, Gerrards Cross in 1933 and 1939; and 13 Manchester Square, London in 1935 and 1939.

He died in Midhurst, Sussex in 1968.
