Naim Jacob Aslan was born on 7 June 1910. After working with the Public Works Department in Baghdad in 1930-31, he enrolled at the University of Liverpool School of Architecture in 1932. He subsequently worked as a town planner in London woth P. D. Hepworth. With Charles Reilly he wrote Outline Plan for the County Borough of Birkenhead (Birkenhead: County Borough of Birkenhead, 1947). Aslan died in London on 20 March 1988. His address was given as 40 Audley Street, London at the time of his death.
