Badger, Frederick Ernest George 1872 - 1949

Frederick Ernest George Badger was born in Crewe, Cheshire, England on 29 November 1872. He was articled in the London & North Western Railway Engineers' Office in Crewe in 1890 and remained with them as their assistant until 1895. He then worked as an assistant to the Liverpool City Engineer from 1895 to 1897; and in the London & North Western Railway Co. District Office in Crewe from 1897 to 1907. From 1907 he was Deputy City Building Surveyor for Liverpool. He was Director of Housing for Liverpool Corporation.  In the late 1930s he was in partnership with C. H. Hutton in Liverpool. Badger was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1912.  

His address was given as The Laurels, Carlton Lane, Liverpool in 1912; 34 Castle Street, Liverpool in 1939; Cunard Building, Liverpool in 1923 and 1935; and The Hill Cottage, Hognet, Shropshire in 1939. He died in Whitchurch, Shropshire on 7 March 1949.
