Ball, William Arthur Cessford 1892 - 1987

William Arthur Cessford Ball was born in Dover, Kent, England in 1892. It is not known where he trained as an architect.  In the 1911 England Census he is listed as an articled pupil architect.  His training may have been disrupted by World War One. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1922. He subsequently practised as an architect in Croydon, Surrey. His address was given as 3 Upperton Gardens, Eastbourne, Sussex in 1926; and 17 Fairfield Road, Croydon, Surrey in 1939. He died in Croydon, Surrey on 9 August 1987
