Belcher, Arthur Herbert 1858 - 1924

Arthur Herbert Belcher was born in Kennington, Surrey [now London], England on 24 August 1858 and was the son of the architect John Belcher (1818-1890). He was articled. to his father and then remained in his office for several years.  He also studied at University College, London, and at the Architectural Association in London.

He subsequently practised as an architect in London and was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1882.  

His address was given as 7 Brunswick Square, London in 1881 and 1888; 8 Montral Terrace, Priory Park, Kilburn, London in in 1889 and 1890; 8 and 9 Martin's Lane, Cannon Street, London in 1904 and 1915; and 12 Lawn Road, Hampstead, London in 1920 and 1924.
