Belton, Thomas Alfred Leverton 1912 - 2003

Thomas Alfred Leverton Belton [commonly known as T.A.L. Belton; also known as Thomas A. L. Belton] was born in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England, on 11 March 1912. He worked as an architect in Britain in from the 1930s onwards, Belton furnished a bed sitting-room and a sportsman’s room for the ‘Britain Can Make It’ exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, in 1946. A workroom-bedroom designed by Vincent Rother and T.A.L. Belton is illustrated in 'Furnishing the Small Home: Volume 2' (London: The Studio Ltd, 1953). Belton was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1936. He died in 2003.
