Berry, Joseph Norman 1887 - 1940

Joseph Norman Berry was born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England on 30 October 1887 and was the son of the architect Joseph Berry (1860-1940) with whom he may have received his training as an architect. He is listed as a practising architect in the 1911 Census of England Wales. By 1916 he was in partnership with his father and his brother, Thomas Wilfred Berry (1891-1925) in the architectural firm Joseph Berry & Sons in Huddersfield.

His address was given as 62 Fenton Road, Lockwood, Yorkshire in 1901; 2 Vernon Avenue, Huddersfield in 1911; 3 Market Place, Huddersfield in 1923 and 1926; and Briarcourt, Lindley, Huddersfield in 1941.  He died on 26 December 1940
