Thomas Wilfred Berry was born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England on 30 March 1891. and was the son of the architect Joseph Berry (1860-1940) with whom he may have received his training as an architect. By 1916 he was in partnership with his father and his brother, Thomas Wilfred Berry (1891-1925), in the architectural firm Joseph Berry & Sons in Huddersfield.
Thomas Wilfred Berry's address was given as 62 Fenton Road, Lockwood, Yorkshire, England 1901; and Springfield, Honley, Huddersfield in 1925. He was killed in a motoring accident on the Halifax Road, Huddersfield, on 21 February 1925
