Bland, Kenneth William 1909 - 1983

Kenneth William Bland [also known as K.W. Bland] was born in Ilford, Essex, England, on 11 February 1909 and studied at the Royal Academy Schools in London from 1929 to 1934.  He practised as an architect from the 1930s. During the 1960s he was the Chief Architect for Wates Built Homes Ltd.  form any years.  A photograph of Wates Houses in Croydon, Surrey, designed by Bland and built by Wates Ltd. is illustrated in Decorative Art vol.38, 1943-48 (p.48).

His address was given as Fairmile Lodge, Fairmile, Streatham in 1936.  He died in Surrey on 22 April 1983
