Blyth, Henry Charles William 1867 - 1949

Henry Charles William Blyth was born in Virley, Essex, England on 27 July 1867 and was articled to E. J. Dampier in Colchester, Essex from 1886 to 1889. He then worked as an assistant to Bass, Ratcliff & Gretton in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire from 1893 to 1897.  He commenced independent practice as an architect in Lowestoft, Suffolk in 1899.

He was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architect (LRIBA) in 1911.  His address was given as 125 Horninglow Street, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire in 1895; 22 Regent Rd, Lowestoft in 1911; and Victoria Chambers, 62 London Road, Lowestoft in 1914 and 1939.  He died in 1949. His death was registered in Lothingland, Suffolk
