Braven, Arthur Charles 1913 - 1993

Arthur Charles Braven [commonly known as Arthur C. Braven] was born in Camberwell, Surrey [now London], England on 4 May 1913 and worked as an exhibition and display designer in Britain during the 1950s and 1960s. He created a paper sculpture of King David for the ‘Enterprise Scotland’ exhibition at the Royal Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh in 1947 and designed a stand for the Reed Paper Group at the Packaging Exhibition in London in 1957.  A qualified architect, Braven was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1937. He was also a Member of the Society of Industrial Artists (MSIA). Braven lived in London. His address was given as 166, The Grove, Denmark Hill, London in 1939. He died in London on 19 February 1993.
