Brown, Frank Bowen Reynolds

Frank Bowen Reynolds Brown [also known as Francis Bowen Reynolds Brown and as F. B. R. Brown] was born at 116 High Street, Maldon, Essex, England on 15 June 1900. Towards the end of World War One, he served in the Royal Air Force. In the early 1920s, he trained as an architect at the Architectural Association Schools in London and was awarded the A.A. Diploma. In 1927 he was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA). He subsequently practised as an architect in London.

From the 1930s until at least the early 1950s he worked in the Architects Branch of the Board of Education (later Ministry of Education) in London.

His address was given as 11 Hunter House, Hunter Street, London in 1929; and 37 Knollys, House (Top Floor), Compton Street, London in 1935 and 1937. He died on 17 January 1973. His address at the time of his death was Dart Bank, Higher Street, Kingswear, Dartmouth, Devon
