Brown, William Lobin Trant 1865 - 1925

William Lobin Trant Brown was born Stoke Newington, London, England in 1865. He was articled to Walter Snell in 1882 and remained with his successor, Alfred Ebbs, as his assistant until 1894.  He also attended classes at the Architectural Association Schools in London and at Regent Street Polytechnic in London.  He was appointed Surveyor to Willesden District Council in 1894 and became Chief Surveyor in 1897,  He commenced independent practice in Kilburn, Middlesex [now London] in 1899.

He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1906. His address was given as 67 Victoria Road, Kilburn, Middlesex [now London] in 1901 and 1925; 28 Victoria Road, Kilburn in 1904; and 332 High Road, Kilburn 1906 and 1925. He died at 67 Victoria Road, Kilburn on 14 May 1925
