Brundrit, Dean John 1870 - 1939

Dean John Brundrit was born in Lezayre, Isle of Man in January 1870 and and was articled to Thomas C. Clarke in Liverpool from 1886 to 1891. He then worked as an assistant to Joseph Gibbons Sankey (1860-1898) from 1891 to 1894, and was architect to Wood & Brodie, civil engineers in 1894. He was also assistant to Settle & Farmer in Ulveston, Westmorland [now Cumbria].  

Brundrit qualified as an architect in 1901 and was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1902.  He subsequently practised as an architect in Ulveston.

Brundrit's address was given as 4 Town Bank Road, Ulverston in 1902; Kilners Park, Ulverston in 1914 and 1926; and Downthwaite, Upper Brighton Road, West Worthing, Sussex in 1935 and 1939. He died in Worthing, West Sussex on 26 September 1939.
