Burton, Charles Frederick 1875 - ?

Charles Frederick Burton was born in West Hartlepool, Durham, England on 5 December 1875 and was articled to James Garry (1850-1918) in West Hartlepool. He subsequently practised as an architect in West Hartlepool where he was in partnership with Harry Barnes (1870-1935) from 1914 to 1917.

Burton was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1925. His address was given as Shipping Chambers, George Street, West Hartlepool in 1914 and 1939; and 105 Granville Avenue, West Hartlepool in 1939.
