Carr, Frank Henry 1904 - 1983

Frank Henry Carr [also known as Henry Carr and as Frank H. Carr] was born in Wallington, Surrey, England on 28 June 1904.  He qualified as an architect in the late 1920s and was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1929. He was also an Associate Member of the Town Planning Institute (AMPTI).  He practised as an architect in Barnes and in the 1939 National Register gave his occupation as a Local Government Office Architect

Photographs of a house in Barnes by him are illustrated in The Book of the Modern House, edited by Patrick Abercrombie (1939 p. 152).

Carr's address was given as 25 Byfeld Gardens, Barnes, London in 1930; 106 Station Road, Barnes, London in 1935; and Howardsmead Remenham Park, Wraysbury, Eton, Buckinghamshire and 6 Atherton Road, Barnes, London in 1939. He died in Surrey in 1983
