Carter, William M. 1906 - ?

William M. Carter was born on 2 April 1906 and was active as an architect from the 1930s to at least the late 1950s. During World War Two he worked as an architect on camouflage work for the Royal Air Force.  

Photographs of the living room and dining room in an extendable house designed by Carter and built by Simms Sons & Cooke Ltd. are illustrated in 'Decorative Art' 1954-55 (pp. 27, 30).  

Carter was an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA). His address was given as 87 Barnfield Avenue, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey in 1939.
