Chantrill, Frank Howard 1870 - 1929

Frank Howard Chantrill [also known as Frank H. Chantrill) was born in Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England on 30 March 1870.  By the early 1890s he was working as an architect's assistant and by 1908 was in practice as an architect with an office at 55 Newhall Street, Birmingham.  Chantrill also lived and possibly practised as an architect in Argentina.

An entry by Chantrill in a competition to design Lambeth Municipal Buildings is discussed in British Competitions in Architecture vol. 1, no. 1, January 1905 (pp. 30, 32).

Chantrill was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA). He died in Los Angeles, California on 16 January 1929
