Chard, Arthur Reynolds 1881 - 1961

Arthur Reynolds Chard [also known as A. Reynolds Card] was born in Ottery St Mary, Devon, England in 1881. Nothing is known about his training as an architect. He practised in Lewes, Sussex and in London in the early years of the twentieth century. A sketch and a floor plan of a house in Sussex, England, designed by Chard is featured in 'The Studio Yearbook of Decorative Art' 1912 (p.12).  He participated in the Exhibition of Houses and Cottages held at Romford Garden Suburb, Gidea Park in 1911.

Chard's address was given as 15 Shelley Terrace, Lewes, East Sussex in 1909 and Hill Crest, Belsize Avenue, Bowes Park, Southgate, London in 1911.   

Chard died in Wood Green, Middlesex in 1961.
