Church, Arthur Harold 1866 - 1945

Arthur Harold Church was born in Hackney, London, England in 1866 and was the son of the architect William Daniel Church (1844-1906). He was articled to his father from 1881 to 1886 and remained with him as his assistant and then manager until 1894.  In 1894 his father took him into partnership and following his death in 1906 took over the running of the practice.

He was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1910 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1921.  His address was given as Inglenook, Wavertree Road, Woodford, Essex in 1910; 12 South Place, Finsbury, London in 1910 and 1914; and 16 and 17, Devonshire Square, Bishopsgate, London from 1923 to 1933.  He died in Henley, Oxfordshire in 1945.
