Cloux, Frank Louis Whitmarsh 1885 - 1940

Frank Louis Whitmarsh Cloux [commonly known as Frank Cloux] was born in Folkestone, Kent, England on 27 August 1885 and trained as an architect in H.M. Office of Works from 1902. He qualified as an architect in 1902 and was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) the following year.  He worked at H M. Ministry of Works until at least the late 1930s and designed a number of Post Offices.  

Cloux's address was given as 81 Burton Road, Brixton, Surrey in 1911; 22 Carlisle Place, London in 1914; "Gables", Village Way, Dulwich, London in 1930 and 1935; 6 Dorchester Court, Herne Hill, London in 1939. He died on 31 October 1940
