Percy Arthur Coad was born in Hornsey, Middlesex, England on 21 August 1875 and was articled to Edwin Jams Sadgrove (1861-1943) in London. He subsequently practised as an architect in Bromley, Kent for many years and was Architect to the Bromley and Beckenham Joint Hospital Board; and Architect to Bromley Town Council.
He was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and admitted a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1925.
His address was given as “Whyte Cot,” Wanstead Road, Bromley, Kent in 1912 and 1923; and The Homestead, Nightingale Lane, Bromley, Kent in 1926 and 1939. He died in Northern Ireland on 9 January 1964.
