Collingwood, Richard Lord 1879 - 1972

Richard Lord Collingwood [also known as Richard L. Collingwood] was born in Rochdale, England on 17 February 1879.  He was active as an architect and quantity surveyor in Lancashire in the early years of the twentieth century.  He was awarded 2nd prize (Manchester and Liverpool Area) in a competitions conducted by the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Local Government Board to design Cottage Housing for the Working Classes in 1918.

Collingwood's address was given as 9 Sussex Street, Rochdale, Lancashire in 1911; and 16 Osborne Road, Lytham St Anne's, Lancashire in 1939. He died in Fylde, Lancashire in 1972
