Conder, Jean c. 1922 - 2016

Jean Conder was [also known as Jean Moya] born Jean MacArthur in c.1922. She studied architecture at the Architectural Association School in London. Together with Martin Cavell, Conder was responsible for the design of the exhibition layout in the Building Centre's new premises in Store Street, London, completed in 1952. She married the architect Neville Conder (1922-2003) on 25 July 1946. They were divorced in 1967 and on 28 April 1988 she married the architect John Hidalgo Moya (1920-1994).  At the time of her second marriage she was described as a gilder and restorer.  She died on 14 November 2016.
