Cooper, Henry Alfred 1859 - 1946

Henry Alfred Cooper was born in Kettering, Northamptonshire, England in 1859 and was articled to Robert Winter Johnson (1833-1884) in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England. He commenced independent practice as an architect in Kettering, Northamptonshire in 1885.  He was in partnership with Richard John Williams (1867-1933) from 1899 to 1912 and with his son, Frederic Roland Cooper (1886-1947) , as H. A. Cooper & Son in Kettering from c.1912 until the 1930s.

Henry Alfred Cooper was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and was admitted a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1925. He died in Kettering Northamptonshire on 24 August 1946.
