Cornelius, Alfred John 1876 - 1964

Alfred John Cornelius [also known as A. J. Cornelius, and as Alfred Cornelius] was born in Teignmouth, Devon, England on 4 August 1876 and was articled to Samuel Segar (1854-1925) in Newton Abbot, Devon and commenced practice an independent architect in Truro, Cornwall in 1903.  He was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and admitted a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1925.  He practised as an architect in Truro until at least the late 1930s.  He died in Truro, Cornwall died on 24 August 1964.
