Coyle, Frank Aloysius 1887 - 1954

Frank Aloysius Coyle was born in Consett, Co. Durham, England on 24 January 1887 and was articled to Newcombe & Newcombe in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He also studied abroad.  He subsequently practised as an architect in Consett. He was Architect to Consett Urban District Council; the Leadgate Urban District Council; and the Durham Rural District Council.

Coyle was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and was admitted a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1925.  His address was given as Rose & Crown Hotel, Blackhill, Durham in 1911; 29, Newmarket Street, Consett, Co. Durham in 1923 and 1930; and 11 Saville Row, Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1930 and 1939.  He died in 1954 and was buried in Consett.
