Philip Henry Cundall was born in the Philippines on 31 May 1886. By 1890 he had moved to England. It is not known where or with whom he trained as an architect but in 1920 he was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architect and had a practice in Altringham, Cheshire where he maintained an office until at least the late 1930s. He died in Brighton, Sussex on 20 April 1975
