Daniel, Thomas Llewellyn 1891 - 1967

Thomas Llewellyn Daniel was born in Aberdway, Merionethshire, Wales on 26 April 1891 and trained at the Regent Street Polytechnic School of Architecture in London. He also received private tuition and was a probationer under Albert Edward Richardson (1880-1964) and Charles Lovett Gill (1880-1960) of Richardson & Gill in London.

Daniel subsequently practised as an architect in London. In c.1930 he formed a partnership with Edward John Partridge (1868-1931) as Partridge & Daniel in Richmond, Surrey.  The partnership was short-lived as Partridge died on 2 March 1931, however, Daniel retained the original title of the firm for several years after that.

Daniel was was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1918. He was also a Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (M.I.Struct.E.). His address was given as 59 Empress Avenue, Ilford, Essex in 1901; 37 Cranbrook Park, Ilford, Essex in 1911; 4, New Square, Lincoln's Inn, London and 239, Coventry Road, Word, Essex in 1923 and 1930; Bank Chambers, 39 George Street, Richmond, Surrey in 1931; and 40 Wellesley Road, Ilford, Essex and 4, The Green, Richmond, Surrey in 1935 and 1939. He died in London in 1967.
