Mark Cooper Day

Mark Cooper Day [also known as M. Cooper Day] was born in Croydon, Surrey, England in 10 April 1856 and trained as an architect under John Berney in Croydon. In 1877 he began practising as an independent architect in Surrey, before emigrating to Australia in 1880.  From 1883 he was in partnership with Henry Austin Wilshire in the Sydney, New South Wales-based architectural firm Wilshire & Day.  He was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Architects (FIA) in 1890). He died in Sydney, New South Wales in 1937.
