Drew, Edward 1867 - 1935

Edward Drew was born in Highworth, Wiltshire, England on 21 June 1867. He was articled to his father, William Henry Drew (c.1837-1905) in Swindon in 1883 and remained with him as his assistant until 1888 when they formed a partnership, Drew & Sons [from 1891, Drew & Son]. The partnership continued until the death of Drew senior in 1905. Edward Drew then practised alone. He was elected a Licentiare of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1911 and was active as an architect until at least the late 1920s. He died in Wiltshire in 1935.
