Fogg, Thomas Holt 1882 - 1918

Thomas Holt Fogg was born in Marple Bridge Derbyshire, England in 1882 and was articled to Joseph William Rowell (1826-1902) and William John Rowell of J. W. Rowell & Sons in Newton Abbot, Devon. He commenced independent practice as an architect in Chippenham, Wiltshire in 1909 and became a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA).  He died on 26 March 1918 whilst serving in the Army in France during World War One and is buried at Heath Cemetery in Harbonnieres, France.

Between 1909 and 1914 he worked on the restoration of Sheldon Manor in Chippenham; made alterations to the Skating Rink on Station Hill, Chippenham; and designed premises for W. J. Wheeler at the Market Place, Chippenham.
