French, Alec Frank 1891 - 1972

Alec Frank French [also known as Alec F. French] was born on 24 April 1891. He practised as an architect in England in the 1920s and 1930s.  A design for a house by him is illustrated in Houses (with 3 and 4 Bedrooms, etc.). A selection from the Designs sent in for The Builder Cost of Building Competition (London: "The Builder", 1923 p.15); and a house designed by him was entered in The "Daily Mail" Ideal Houses Competition for Architects, 1927.

In 1927, he was junior partner in the architectural practice Leete & French which had an office at 52, High Street, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

French's address was given as 27 Druid Stoke Avenue, Bristol, Gloucestershire in 1939. He died in 1972.  His address at the time of his death was 11a Old Sneed Park, Bristol
