Fry, Peter George 1875 - 1924

Peter George Fry was born in Wells, Somerset, England in 1875. He was articled to S. J. Wilde in Weston super Mare, Somerset and remained with him as his assistant.  He subsequently worked as an assistant to W. Simmons, a quantity surveyor, and to Harry Teather (1867-1956) from 1896 to 1898.

Fry commenced practice as an architect in Weston super Mare in 1898 and was in partnership with S. J. Wilde from 1898 to 1909.  By 1914 he had formed another partnership, with William Esson Paterson and Harold Jones in the firm Fry, Paterson & Jones. Fry was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1910 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1920.  His address was given as 28 Waterloo Street, Weston super Mare in 1923. He died in London on 28 October 1925.
