Gotch, Christopher Llewellyn 1923 - 2002

Christopher Llewellyn Gotch was born in Kettering, Northamptonshire, England on 19 May 1923.  His father, Laurence Mursell Gotch (1882-1964), was an architect and he followed him into the profession.  

Limberlost Lodge, a house built of larch logs in Worcestershire, England, designed by Gotch is discussed in 'Decorative Art' vol.47, 1957-58 (p.15); and a sports pavilion in Birmingham, England designed by him is discussed in 'Architect & Building News' 16 August 1961 (pp.241-244).  

Gotch was an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA). He wrote for 'Architectural Review' and 'Country Life'. He died in Hounslow, London 2002.
