Green, Arthur William 1849 - 1904

Arthur William Green was born in Westmonster, Middlesex [now London], England on 14 March 1849. Nothing is known about his training as an architect. He commenced practice in the early 1870s and shared an office in London with Thomas Archer (c.1832-?) and in the 1890s with his son, Leslie William Green (185-1908).

His office was located 17 Buckingham Street, Strand, London from 1879 to 1883; 19 Buckingham Street, Strand, London from 1884 to 1886; and from 1890, 11 Suffolk Street, London.

He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1879.
