Greenaway, Joseph Reginald 1877 - 1948

Joseph Reginald Greenaway [also known as J.R. Greenaway] was born in Reading, Berkshire, England on 26 February 1877 and was articled to his father, Joseph Greenaway (1838-1917) in Reading.  He subsequently worked as an architect and surveyor in Reading from c.1910 onwards. He was also lecturer in Building Construction and Surveying at University College, Reading.  

Between 1919 and 1931 he was in partnership with the architect Conrad Birdwood Willcocks (1887-1972).

Greenaway's address was given as 11, Friar Street, Reading, Berkshire in 1923 and 1926; and 10 Southcote Road, Reading in 1939. He died in Reading on 5 June 1948
