Greeves, Eleanor 1924 - 2015

Eleanor Greeves was born Margaret Eleanor Pryce in Wrexham, Wales on 24 June 1924 and trained as an architect at the Architectural Association in London. She subsequently worked primarily as a ceramic tile designer and artist. In 1950 she married the architect and writer Thomas Affleck “Tom” Greeves (1917-1997) whom she had met at the AA. They settled in Bedford Park, London and were actively involved in a campaign to conserve many of the buildings in Bedford Park. This led to the formation of the Bedford Park Society. She died in Taunton, Somerset on February 4, 2015
