John Grey practised as an architect in London, England from the 1920s to the 1940s. Between c.1930 and c.1933 he was a partner with Humphrey Arthur Pakington (1888-1974) and Roderick Eustace Enthoven (1900-1985), in the London architectural firm Pakington, Enthoven & Grey. Grey designed displays for the Royal Academy 'Art in Industry' exhibition held at Burlington House in London in 1935 and the Design and Industries Association’s exhibition 'Design Round the Clock' which toured Britain in 1942-43.
Grey was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1926 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1932. His address was given as 2 Bedford Square, London in 1927 and 1939.
