Hambling, William Hubert Attmore 1884 - 1960

William Hubert Attmore Hambling [also known as William Hambling and as William H. A Hambling] was born in Combroke, Warwickshire, England on 20 January 1884.  B y the time of the 1911 England and Wales Census he was living in Woking, Surrey and practising as an architect. Drawings and plans of a house designed by him are illustrated in Designs for One Hundred Ideal £1,000 Houses. Being copies of the hundred best designs entered in the 1912 Daily Mail Architects' Competition (1912 p.42).

His address was given as Redborough, The Grove Horsell Woking, Surrey in 1911; “Gower,” Mimbridge, Near Woking, Surrey; Flat 3, 9 Lionel Road, Bexhill, Sussex in 1939; and 1 Stone Cottage, Little Common Road, Bexhill, Sussex in 1940. He died in Claro, Yorkshire in 1960
