Frederic Snowden Hammond [also known as Frederick Snowden Hammond] was born in Stoke Newington, Middlesex [now London], England on 22 July 1873. He was articled to his father, Frederic Hammond (1847-1919) from 1891 to 1895 and remained as his assistant until 1897 when he commenced independent practice as an architect in London. He was Architect and Surveyor to Parish of St. Giles Without, Cripplegate.
He was elected a Licentiate of the Royal institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1910.
His address was given as 23 Barbican, London in 1910 and 1914; and 44 Muswell Hill Road, Haringey, Hornsey, Middlesex in 1939. He died in 1948. His death was registered in Hendon, Middlesex.
