Handover, Frederick William (F.W.) 1901 - 1956

Frederick William Handover [also known as F.W. Handover] was born in Kensington, London, England on 15 June 1901 [or 1902 - sources differ]. He worked in Britain as an architect and surveyor from the 1920s.  He was an architect for Barclay Perkins & Co., a London firm of brewers. The interior of the saloon bar of the Kenilwoth Castle designed by Handover is illustrated in 'Art and Industry' July 1953 (p.30).

Handover was a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA).  His address was given as 55 Bellevue Road, Ealing, Middlesex in 1939. He died on 20 December 1956 His death was registered in Willesden, Middlesex. His address at the time of his death was 16 Toley Avenue, Wembley, Middlesex.
