Harrison, Gilbert Andrew 1876 - 1962

Gilbert Andrew Harrison was born in Headington, Oxfordshire, England on 6 November 1876 and trained as an architect under Harry Wilkinson Moore (1850-1915) in Oxford.  He commenced independent practice as an architect in Oxford in 1903 and was in partnership with his brother, Nathaniel William Harrison (1865-1944). By the early 1920s he had relocated his practice to Maidenhead in Berkshire. He was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and was admitted a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1925.  He died in Sonning Common, Oxfordshire on 16 February 1962
