Albert Charles Havers was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England in 1864. He trained with B. Billbryan in Norwich from 1885 to 1887 and was articled to Edward Preston Willins (?-1889) in Norwich from 1887 to 1889. Havers commenced independent practice in Norwich in 1889 and was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1910 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1926. He died in Norwich, Norfolk on 20 October 1930
