Healey, William Everard 1869 - 1946

William Everard Healey was born in Notting Hill, London, England on 13 April 1869 and was articled to William George Bower in London and Margate, Kent from 1886 to 1890. He worked as an assistant to Albert Latham; to Thomas Guest in Birmingham; and to J. Rees in Pentre, Wales.

Healey commenced independent practice in Sutton Coldfield in 1893. From 1898 to 1907 he was in partnership with Charles Frederick Marston (1858-1937).  He worked as an assistant to George Foster Shepley (1860-1943), Charles Hercules Rutan (1851-1914) and Charles Allerton Coolidge (1858-1936) in Chicago, Illinois; and to Henry Stanton Webber (1878-1958) in Maidenhead, Berkshire from 1909.

Healey's address was given as 213 Queen Street, Maidenhead, Berkshire in 1912 and 1913; 156 High Street, Ramsgate, Kent in 1914 and 1923; 119 Grange Road Ramsgate, Kent in 1926 and 1936.

He was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (LRIBA) in 1912 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1929. He died on 2 December 1946. His death was registered in Thanet, Kent
