Henshaw, Thomas Vicars 1877 - 1937

Thomas Vicars Henshaw was born in Liverpool, Lancashire, England on 2 June [or 8 March - sources differ] 1877. He was articled to Walter Aubrey Thomas (1853-1934) in 1894 and remained with him as his assistant. He attended Liverpool School of Science, Technology and Art in 1897-98 and Liverpool University School of Architecture in 1898-99.   

Henshaw was elected a Licentiate of the Royal Institute of  British Architects (LRIBA) in 1911.  He was active as an architect until at least the late 1920s.  He lived in Liverpool, Lancashire (1911), and Liscard, Cheshire (1911, 1914), Bromborough, Cheshire (1923), and Gayton, Cheshire (1926). He died in Oswestry, Shropshire on 5 February 1937.
