George Arthur Hill [also known as George A. Hill] was born in 1883, possibly in Eastbourne, East Sussex, England. He was articled to Henry Jarvis (?-1910) of Henry Jarvis & Son in London. He also studied at the Royal Academy Schools in London South Kensington Schools, Wandsworth Polytechic, and Battersea Polytechic. He subsequently commenced practice as an architect in Cheltenham, Essex in 1905. By 1914 he had relocated his practice to Haverfordwest, Wales. He was a Member of the Society of Architects (MSA) and an Associate of the South Wales Institute of Architects. His address was given as 17, Victoria Place, Haverfordwest, Wales and 17, North Street, Haverfordwest, Wales in 1914.
