Horsburgh, Arthur Lindsay 1892 - 1934

Arthur Lindsay Horsburgh [commonly known as Arthur L. Horsburgh] was born in Kirkdale, Lancashire, England on 13 July 1892 and was articled to Henry Redfern in London. He was subsequently practised as an architect in Birmingham.  From 1922 to 1929 he was in partnership with Douglas George Tanner (1880-1932) as Tanner & Horsburgh in Burmingham. Between 1919 and 1922 he was a Housing Inspector for the Ministry of Health.

Horsburgh was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1918 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1929.   His address was given as Great Western Buildings, Livery Street, Birmingham in 1926 and 1934.  He died in Birmingham on 15 December 1934.
